I know some of you are having problems with your Reading Comprehension tests. I'm sure it's only a matter of practice. Why don't you try doing this 2 tests about food?

Read the text.
Choose the correct answer.
You have 10 minutes to complete the test.

HERE WE GO AGAIN...

Welcome back kids. I'm glad to see you all again. Every year is different and special for all of us. You are a year older and you will have to work a bit harder now. We will all have good and, let's say, not so good moments, but remember as Richard Graham says:

If you think you can do it, you can do it.

I hope you all have a nice year and you learn a lot!!

WELCOME BACK SUMMER!!!!

Yes! It's almos summer and we are all thinking about long sunny days, hot weather, beaches, friends, ... and, of course, NO MORE SCHOOL for a couple of months. Well, believe it or not I will miss you a lot -which does not mean I'm not glad the summer holidays are here again!!

Anyway, one of the things we identify the summer with is the song of a famous spot on TV we often see these days. I must confess I didn't really like it when I first heard it, but know I've changed my mind.

Click on the link below, listen to the song and complete the lyrics.

I wish I could see you soon

ESO2 THE JETSONS (PART 2)

It's kind of funny to see how most of you enjoyed The Jetsons, specially when some of you complained because they "looked old" - which I suppose meant they couldn't be good.

Well, I'm happy to see that at least we have The Jetsons in common.

As most of you wanted to see the second part, here it goes.

ESO2 OPTATIVA PRESENT SIMPLE VS. PRESENT CONTINUOUS

As you have seen this morning, there is a presentation to revise the present simple and another one to revise the present continuous. If you use them separately it's quite easy to know how to use them, but what happens when we mix them? How do you know which one to use?

Get in pairs and prepare a presentation to teach in class the difference between the present simple and the present continuous. I'm sure you will find some examples in www.slideshare.com.

Oh, come on! Don't complain! I know it's difficult, but try to be original.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

Things have changed quite a lot. Well, or maybe not. When I was a child I remember we painted boiled eggs in the Arts and Crafts lesson. Before our Easter holidays we all took our eggs and hid them in the playground. The egg hunt was then ready to start ...

Can you imagine all the kids in primary running around looking for an egg? It was amazing! And as this activity was done the last day before Easter we all considered it as the beginning of the holidays.

As we don't do any activity similar to this one I can only say:

Have you recognised any of your classmates?
Now, I would like you to choose a sportsman or sportswoman to write about. Look for information and tell me about him/her. You should hand it in by the end of next week.
